With over fifteen years of experience, Anjali is a seasoned business development and communications professional who has spent her career working on behalf of children, women, and families throughout the world. Anjali has overseen high-level integrated fundraising and communications campaigns to successfully build and mobilize audiences, raise funds, and drive engagement.
Prior to joining Convergence, Anjali worked for Nobel Laureate Nadia Murad’s organization, Nadia’s Initiative, where she oversaw business development and communications for the organization in an effort to inform, educate, and activate the international community to support survivors of sexual violence and genocide. Previously, she worked as Deputy Director for the United Nations Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign where she led fundraising and communications initiatives that resulted in dynamic partnerships with celebrities, corporate partners, and grassroots donors aimed to inspire and spur meaningful action to end malaria, one of the world’s oldest and deadliest diseases. Prior to that, she worked in the Bloomberg Administration where she managed the communications, policy, and stakeholder engagement for the City’s early education, juvenile justice, and child welfare portfolio.
She received her Master’s in Public Administration from New York University and B.A. from American University.
