Beatriz is the Associate for Development at Convergence. She plays a critical role in maintaining the operations of the Development team by serving as their Salesforce Administrator, supporting logistics and prospect research for fundraising opportunities. Prior to joining Convergence, Beatriz worked with Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital, which is the largest, Girl Scout council in the nation serving girls in the Greater Washington Region. While at GSCNC, Beatriz served as their Revenue Operations Specialist both in their Finance division and Development team managing their donor database and finances.

After a few sabbatical years, Beatriz is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Pennsylvania State University. While at PSU she has obtained an undergraduate certificate in Diverse Studies and has been employed part-time with their Student Affairs Department as a mentor for new students. She will complete her undergraduate degree in the Fall of 2022.

In her free time, Beatriz likes to travel and explore new places, so much so, that she and her significant other bought a school bus during the pandemic and are converting it into a mobile home on wheels. They plan to have it finished and begin traveling at the start of 2023.
