Jane DelGiorno joins Convergence as Senior Manager, Communications with more than 14 years of strategic communications and marketing experience.
Jane began her public relations career in Boston where she led media relations, investor relations, thought leadership, and strategic and crisis communications efforts on behalf of clients in the financial, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors, as well as several Fortune 500 technology companies.
After a move to Ohio, Jane oversaw traditional and social media activity for financial and non-profit clients in Cincinnati, including the City of Cincinnati Streetcar Project and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati. She later served as Marketing Communications Manager at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and the National Center for Medical Readiness in Dayton, where she was responsible for advising senior leadership and department heads on marketing initiatives, managing website and social media content, and writing copy for the medical school’s publications.
Jane and her family then spent several years overseas, living in Turkey and Japan, before relocating to Hawaii, where she had the opportunity to manage media relations, social media, and marketing communications initiatives for an array of island owned and operated organizations, including Child and Family Service, First Hawaiian Bank, and Pono Pacific.
After 10+ years of following her husband’s service with the Air Force around the globe, Jane and her family planted roots in the Washington, D.C. area. There, she served as Vice President, External Affairs for American Corporate Partners (ACP), a nationwide organization that provides veterans and military spouses with corporate mentors.
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Jane currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, two young daughters, and two rescue dogs. She is an avid traveler and enjoys water sports, hiking, snowboarding, soccer, running, and photography. Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations and public relations from Boston University.
