With a decade of digital marketing and online community management experience, Tasia joins our team as the Digital Content Manager.
Looking to make the world a little better, she joined the nonprofit sector in 2018 as the Digital Manager at CURE Epilepsy. Tasia was instrumental in building their online community of people with epilepsy, parents, caregivers, neuroscientists, and clinicians through digital outreach and content marketing. In 2020, she joined the Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County (CEDA), connecting low-income residents to critically needed services and uplifting the promise of Community Action.
Tasia started her career in the video game industry, working with the ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda Softworks teams as a Social Analyst to support the launches of The Elder Scrolls Online, Wolfenstein: New Order, and The Evil Within. In her role, she learned about the delicate art of online moderation and community building among individuals with strong differences of opinion.
Originally from Ohio, Tasia has worked and lived across the country, from Baltimore to Santa Fe. In 2011, she graduated from Goucher College with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Studies. She lives in Chicago with her partner, child, niece, and cat.
