A McKnights Senior Living article by Kathleen Steele Gaivin covered a new report from Commonwealth Fund researchers titled, “U.S. and Global Approaches to Financing Long-Term Care: Understanding the Patchwork.” The report examined US financing of long-term care and methods of improving the approach.
The article made a mention and comparison to Convergence’s Long-Term Care Financing Collaborative recommendations that resulted in the passing of legislation. Three Convergence Dialogue participants were members of the five-person advisory group that designed the Well-Being Insurance for Seniors to be at Home (WISH) Act.
