Olivia Daigle joined Convergence in August of 2024. She graduated with a master’s degree in International Human Rights with a certificate in Global Justice from the University of Denver and a BA from Earlham College in Politics. During her time at university, Olivia worked for DU’s Conflict Engagement and Resolution Initiative (CERI) as a dialogue facilitator, helping DU students come together across differences and increase understanding of different perspectives. She also spent time abroad in Geneva with the Quaker office of the United Nations, learning about Quaker approaches to conflict engagement within international diplomacy. Olivia previously worked as Public Programs Coordinator at the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh, organizing and designing programming around global issues and relating them to the local community. During her time there, she focused on working with the robust immigrant and refugee community in Pittsburgh, increasing awareness of Pittsburgh’s status as a welcoming city. She is passionate about dialogue work, consensus building, and restorative justice practices.
