Convergence Announces Mariah Levison as CEO and President

Seasoned consensus-builder steps into role at leading nonprofit in bridging divides to solve critical issues

Washington, D.C., February 28, 2024 — The Board of Directors of Convergence Center for Policy Resolution is delighted to announce the appointment of Mariah Levison as the organization’s CEO and President.

After having led work in mediation, conflict management, and collaborative dialogue for two decades, Mariah joined Convergence as Chief Program Officer in 2022, and then took on the Interim CEO role in 2023. As CEO and President, she will now lead the organization’s efforts to solve critical challenges through collaborative problem-solving and consensus-building across differences.

Mariah Levison shares, “I’m thrilled to be taking on this critical role and leading Convergence into this new chapter. Collaborative problem-solving is my life’s work and passion, and I look forward to expanding our impact and growing our community. Especially at this critical time, I’m eager to demonstrate to Americans that working together is not only possible but desirable.”
