Hanna Hasson Siddiqui

Hanna Hasson Siddiqui is a strategic finance leader with more than a decade of experience in nonprofit financial management, tax compliance, and organizational risk oversight. She serves as Assistant Director at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she provides financial consulting across several schools / departments and delivers executive-level reporting that informs institutional planning and decision-making. Hanna brings deep expertise in fiscal transparency and governance, having led the preparation of Columbia University’s IRS Form 990 and supported board-facing compliance processes. Her work strengthens accountability, mitigates financial risk, and builds stakeholder trust; core principles she carries into her board service.

She is currently completing her MS in Nonprofit Management at Columbia University and holds an MBA in Accounting. In addition to her financial leadership, Hanna is committed to inclusive organizational culture; she co-founded and co-leads Columbia’s Islamic Cultural Employee Resource Group and has been recognized for her contributions to diversity, equity, and community-building.

Hanna joins the Convergence Board of Directors with a passion for ethical stewardship, cross-sector collaboration, and mission-driven governance.
