Alex Chugunova Frazier joined Convergence in August of 2021. She graduated with a master’s degree in Linguistics, Language and Communication from Georgetown University and holds a BA in International Relations from Michigan State University. In her graduate program, she focused on discourse analysis in digital media and in in-person interactions. Alex has studied abroad and taken courses from a variety of institutions in the US, exposing her to multiple perspectives and cultures.
She previously worked for Georgetown University’s Learning, Design, and Technology graduate program as a Technology and Media Graduate Associate. There, she concentrated on creating a fluid and agency-focused experience for students with tech tools, strategized marketing and recruitment efforts, and also, assisted with various program initiatives. With her experience working and studying with a broad group of individuals, Alex brings a passion for intercultural communication, technology, and online interactions as tools to assess divisions and unite individuals. In her spare time, Alex enjoys gardening, reading, and playing tennis.
