Dusie is Chief of Staff to Bill Shireman, the serial social entrepreneur who founded Future 500, helped launch BridgeUSA, catalyzed the In This Together campaign, and authored California’s “bottle bill”, the nation’s most cost-effective recycling law. At Solution Citizen, Dusie and Bill help donors, companies, causes, and campaigns advance pragmatic solutions that address climate change and other intractable “wedge” issues. In partnership with EarthX, the environmental nonprofit based in Dallas, they curate conferences that cut across industry and political silos to bridge perspectives, leverage expertise, and foster multi-partisan collaboration that drives progress for our planet. From 2010 to 2024, Dusie served in a variety of operational, strategic, and development roles supporting Convergence Center for Policy Resolution’s growth from startup to maturity. Dusie has an MA in Human Rights from University College London and a BA in International Relations and French from Brown University. Dusie lives in Oakland, CA, with her husband and son.
