Madeline Kane is a facilitator and conflict resolution practitioner with more than a decade of experience helping people work together on complex and often contentious issues. She designs and leads collaborative processes that bring diverse voices to the table, build understanding, and create durable solutions across a wide range of sectors, including childcare, healthcare, Medicaid, land use, cannabis, housing, taxation, energy, public safety, emergency management, environmental issues, tribal affairs, transportation, and infrastructure.
Madeline has guided groups through consensus-building efforts, strategic planning and conflict assessments that strengthen relationships and align policy goals with community needs. She has a strong background in early childhood education and care and has led cross-agency initiatives with providers, state agencies, private organizations and community partners to improve access and quality in early education, to provide capacity-building, change management, and the design and implementation of an integrated care model for children and families.
Madeline helps people find common ground and make collaborative decisions even when the stakes are high. She holds a Master of Science in Conflict Resolution, with a focus on Collaborative Governance, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and dog, reading, and playing board games.
