He also serves as a board member and a growth-oriented advisor to a group of outstanding business-to-business (B2B) media and information organizations across the country.

From 2012 to 2018, Goldstone served as CEO of Hanley Wood LLC, the premier information, media, event, and marketing services company serving the residential and commercial design and construction industry. He led the company’s three operating platforms, which produce award-winning websites, magazines and events, must-have market intelligence data, and strategic marketing services.

Goldstone’s work provided best-in-class returns for Oaktree Capital and all private equity investors of Hanley Wood through accelerated growth, robust value creation, and a successful sale transaction.

Goldstone returned to Hanley Wood in 2012 after serving as president of GMEG, then the B2B media division of Atlantic Media. Prior to that, Goldstone spent 11 years with Hanley Wood, most recently as president, during a period of robust financial growth and expansion.

Before joining Hanley Wood, Goldstone was vice president of the marketing division for Intertec Publishing, a division of Primedia. Goldstone also served as senior vice president and publishing director of Cowles Business Media’s magazine group, where he first led teams as publisher and then group publisher of the company’s marketing and media titles. Goldstone’s career also includes roles at Hearst Business Publishing and SRDS.

Goldstone is a graduate of the University of Vermont. He served on American Business Media’s board of directors and was an active member of Magazine Publishers and Outsell. He was also a member of the Policy Advisory Board for the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University. Recognition of Goldstone’s accomplishments includes induction in the MIN Hall of Fame, as well as inclusion in the Folio Forty and B2B’s Top Innovators.
