Convergence Center For Policy Resolution

Rob's Birthday Campaign Visual

This year, we’re celebrating a milestone that’s close to our hearts – the 75th birthday of Rob Fersh, Convergence’s Founder! It’s a timely opportunity for us to reflect on the incredible journey that began with Rob’s vision as he established Convergence in 2009 and led it as CEO until 2020. Since then, Rob has served as a Board Member and Senior Advisor and helped grow Convergence into the transformative organization we are today. But it’s not just about looking back — it’s about moving forward.

For this momentous occasion, we have set a goal of raising $75,000 to support Convergence and his lifelong mission to solve problems across divides and to create and inspire a more collaborative future. We invite you to honor his vision and help us reach our goal, and here’s how you can participate:

  • Donate $75, $750, or $7,500 (or any amount in between!) to support the campaign, or
  • Provide a match to encourage more giving to this campaign; or
  • Spread the word by sharing this campaign with friends and family.

Every contribution counts—whether big or small. Together, we can reach our goal of $75,000 to contribute resources essential for Convergence to serve its mission at this most challenging time.

A Note from Rob Fersh

“When Convergence approached me to help raise $75,000 in honor of my 75th birthday, I was a bit confused.  Why would we want to celebrate that birthday 26 years before it happens?

Just kidding of course. It is not often that one turns 75. I think it is limited to once a lifetime.

I agreed to the birthday campaign because Convergence is not only dear to my heart but because we are doing important and remarkable work so sorely needed in these tempestuous times. Increasingly, we live at a time when people are losing touch with the humanity they share with others despite sharp differences in policy or political beliefs, and we are losing the ability to solve problems across our divisions.

I hope you will give as generously as you can to support Convergence and see it as an investment toward moving our society forward in a manner that not only solves problems effectively but also contributes to a much more civil and less divided society.
