BEFORE THE EVENT:

Any tips on timing my bookings for travel and lodging? 

  • April is a busy time in Washington, DC, with several major events taking place during the same week as the Summit. We encourage you to book travel and accommodations early to ensure availability and the best rates.

What are some hotel recommendations?

Will I receive a calendar invite? 

  • Yes – you’ll receive a calendar invitation within a few days of registering to help you save the date. If you haven’t received it after that time, feel free to contact us.

Is it required that I stay the whole time?

  • While we would love to spend the whole day with you, you are welcome to join for any portion of the Summit. If possible, let us know if you plan to do so to help us have an accurate food count estimate for our venue by reaching out to: [email protected].

 

VENUE DETAILS:

Is complimentary food provided? If so, are there accommodations for dietary restrictions?

  • Lunch and light bites during reception will be provided. Gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options will be available. However, if you have more specific or severe food allergies or restrictions, we ask that you reach out to us at [email protected].

What is accessibility like at the venue?

  • There is a ramp on the Q Street side of the building that leads directly into the ballroom. There is an ADA bathroom on that same floor. 

Is there Wi-Fi on-site? 

  • The Whittemore House has complimentary Wi-Fi. The login info will be posted throughout the building; however, we encourage you to lean in and remain unplugged and present through the duration of the summit.

Will there be space to take a meeting or a call? 

  • There will be limited private areas to take calls. Please reach out to us if you need to make arrangements at [email protected].

What does parking look like? 

  • There is a public lot across the street. It has an automated pay system. You need to take a photo of your license plate and pay on an app. The Whittemore House as an arrangement for a discounted rate. The person at the front desk can help.

  • The Dupont Hotel next door also has public parking in their lot. The entrance is off Q Street behind the Whittemore House.

Is there public transit nearby? 

  • The Metro Red Line Dupont Circle station is 1.5 blocks down Q Street. Exit the station on the north side and you come up to Connecticut Avenue at Q Street. Go right out of the station.

 

DAY-OF DETAILS:

Do I need a copy of my ticket? 

  • No registration confirmation is required at check-in. We’ll have your name on file – simply share your name when you arrive. 

What is the dress code?  

  • Business casual attire is recommended. 

Will there be any filming or photography? 

  • Yes, there will be photos and filming happening throughout the event. Check back to this page after the Summit for photos and videos! If you have any privacy concerns, please reach out to us at: [email protected]
